I know MLB has bounced this idea around for the past 5+ season and i believe on day they will move to a 26 man roster. I think this could be a good thing for multiple reasons for us. Might just be easier to list them here.
1. Having a deeper bench never sucks with all the injuries we just had this past season. 2. Not having to bounce a bench dude to give a Milb guy a shot for an extended period of time would be nice. 3. Having a deeper pool of RP would be good and this helps owners do that or choose to add another bat instead. 4. This extra bench spot would not extend to adding another SP btw 5. Bottom line the move adds a little bit more flexibility for owners. If you don't have the "extra guy to add" it doesn't put you at a disadvantage because we are not adding an extra active slot like another SP or another OF.
Thanks ATL

I agree with all points except #6. On days in which there is not a full slate of games, a team without the extra could be put at a slight disadvantage.
I would prefer to keep it at 25. Some teams have more than 25 active MLB players and by keeping it at 25 makes them have to use options or run players through waivers. I think having to do this keeps trades more active as well. I am generally against rule changes that involve making things easier for owners through having to make less decisions.

Thanks ATL Due to use mirroring the MLB, if they add this, we will implement it automatically in future years. Just like expansion, our rules are flexible and contingent on real MLB.
