FROM MINNESOTA
THOR, COZART
FROM KC
REYES, SEGURA, CASHNER
from my perspective this is a move that is win win. I hadn't given up on reyes, but I didn't want to wait another long IR stint. Segura was tough to lose but Cozart is an ok replacement and the upgrade I get in Thor makes it worth it. I now have solid SP strength and when Strasburg and Thor are healthy, am a tough matchup for anyone facing me.

I needed a long term Answer at SS and Segura is a stud and one of my favorite players. It’s tough to lose Thor of course but I’ve become a little tired of him being banged up all the time, to me he seems to be one of those pitchers that will also be hurt off and on.
I realize Reyes has been the same way but but I think his has been just more bad luck and he’s a stud once healthy. This moves hurts me a little this year but I also had Stripling in the minors with no need to use him yet. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out long term. Good deal KC. And good luck.
