James Kaprielian missed the entire 2018 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in April 2017, but his return to instructional league action in October is a good indicator of his current health. The 24-year-old last pitched in the minors at High-A Tampa in 2016 -- and officially has only eight minor-league games under his belt. The Brewers will be hoping he gets to pitch in ST healthy and ready to contribute sooner rather than later Freicer Perez had a 7.20 ERA, 1.89 WHIP and 20:19 K:BB through six starts (25 innings) before landing on the shelf with bone spurs and then consequently having surgery to remove them which left him out for the entirety of the 2018 year. He'll be up and running to start 2019 in Double AA to try and break through as one of the leading pitching prospects in the Brewers system
