New York Yankees has extended a qualifying offer to Chris Bassitt is 19.65. Minimum bids: 1 year @ 20.15m = 20.15 points 2 years @ 10.08 = 20.15 points 3 years @ 6.72m = 20.15 points 4 years @ 5.04m = 20.15 points If Bsssitt is won by another team, Yankees will receive a Compensation Round A pick (at end of 1st round) if player signs for over $50 mil total. Team will receive a Compensation Round B (at end of 2nd round) pick if signed for under $50 mil total, and the team that signs the player will lose their 2nd rd rookie pick to the team that lost the player. The original team at the end of the bidding gets a chance to keep the player for the wiinning bid plus+1mil.Auction closes 11th DEC 12pm EST if no bids are received, Yankees keep Bassitt for 19.65 for one year.

BIDDING CLOSED ON CHRIS BASSITT New York Yankees can now decide whether he wants to match Tigers offer for Bassitt +1 mil per year Which would mean New York Yankees would get Bassitt at 18mil for 4 years OR He can receive a comp A balance pick and Tigers will lose their 2nd rd rookie pick 2023
